If you are interested in a Cap Ferrat villa rental or any other rental in the French Riviera, we bet you are also interested in what they offer in terms of food. Keep reading to find out everything we think you must know about breakfast, lunch and dinner meals on the Côte d’Azur.

Breakfast

Breakfast on the Riviera may begin as early as 6 a.m., with some pastry shops and coffee shops opening at that time. There are a variety of traditional pastries available, including croissants, pain au chocolat, apple pies, and more. If you have a sweet craving, we recommend the almond-flavored viennoiseries. You will not be sorry!

If you want a more hearty meal, you may always attend hotel breakfasts on the Riviera. One of our favorites is the Marylebone Riviera, where you can eat avocado toast or chia pudding while taking in the breathtaking sea views.

Lunch

Some lunch spots remain open all day, which is unusual for the Riviera, where people enjoy a more leisurely pace of life. African Queen, located in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, is one of the restaurants known for its flexible hours. This restaurant serves traditional foods such as niçoise salad, fish soup, and other fish and meat dishes.

Most restaurants, however, are open for lunch from 12:00 to 14:00 and provide whatever cuisine you like. Italian, French, Chinese, Japanese, and Indian cuisine may all be found in this area. We recommend finding your favorite Italian restaurant since the border is only 30 minutes away – the experience can only be extraordinary!

Dinner

Dinner options vary greatly, not just in terms of cuisine but also in terms of atmosphere. You can find black tie establishments or a great peaceful beach eatery. Don’t overlook Riviera’s proximity to Monaco – this little nation is full of surprises for travelers. From legendary Parisian eateries to large luxury gourmet restaurants, everything is available here.

We recommend heading to Italy if you plan on renting a car – Dolceaqua and San Remo are both famed for their great restaurants.
